Sleeping Beauty, this year’s big selling pantomime at the Palace Theatre in Redditch will have one of the country’s best baddies casting a spell over audiences! The award-winning Nicole Faraday will be fluttering her wings in the role of Carabosse, the scorned fairy without an invite to the Princess’s celebrations. 

The in-demand actress has recently appeared in the comedy crime movie Not by the Book, in which she picked up the Best Actress Award at the Marbella International Film Awards. 2022 saw Nicole touring the UK with Sugababe Amelle Berrabah and Wendi Harriott of The Voice fame in the musical Soul Sisters and star alongside Griff Rhys Jones in the nationwide Odeon release of Future TX. 

Nicole is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Snowball Merriman in two series of the smash-hit Bad Girls (ITV). She also played series’ regular roles of Dr Heather Lincoln in Casualty (BBC) and man-eater Veronica in Emmerdale (ITV). 

When not touring the UK in musicals or starring on screen, Nicole performs in her own cabaret, both nationally and internationally, at festivals and prestigious venues, including Pizza on the Park, The Pheasantry and Crazy Coqs. 

Nicole brings a wealth of villainous experience to this pantomime role having previously played the wicked queen and other boo-able pantomime baddies in Snow White, Cinderella and Aladdin for Paul Holman Associates.
