A dark and comical twist on classic fairy tales, Sondheim's 'Into The Woods' blends everyone's favourite storybooks into one spectacular musical.
The Baker and his wife venture into the woods to collect the cow as white as milk, the cape as red as blood, the hair as yellow as corn, and the slipper as pure as gold in order to break the Witch's spell so that they can have a child.
Meanwhile, Little Red Riding Hood is on a journey to Grandmother's house, Jack is off to market to sell the cow and Cinderella attends the festival, all whilst Rapunzel is being visited in her tower by a handsome prince!
But be careful what you wish for, for all is not as it seems...
Anything can happen in the woods.
