See four stars of the future who are proof positve that Redditch Has Talent.
Rising Stars features four acts from last summers Redditch Has Talent Competion they are :-
Amy Moynihan - Violinist
Amy has been playing violin for 7yrs as a soloist, part of Chamber Groups and in
Symphony Orchestras. She also plays with the National Children's Orchestra of Great
Britain and with the Birmingham Junior Conservatoire at many venues around the UK.,
including several appearances at the Adrian Boult Hall in Birmingham. Amy is a prodigious
talent and her list of achievements to date are too numerous to list here. Not only does she
perform at prestigious venues, but will also often be seen playing for Charity events. Amy
is also a member of the Palace YouthTheatre where she sometimes gets the chance to act
as well. Amy also plays Viola, Piano and Bass Guitar! She was the recent 10-13 Age
Group winner in the 2016 Redditch Has Talent Finals and left the audience and judges in
awe of her talent and technical ability.
Bethany Parry - Clarinetist
Bethany began playing the Clarinet aged 6 years and fell in love with it! She practices hard
and in 2014 gained a Distinction at Grade 8. Bethany has also participated in a Redditch
area music group and went on to join the Worcestershire Intermediate Orchestra,
performing at various venues, including Birmingham Symphony Hall.She also plays Alto
Saxaphone and is working towards her Grade 8. This has enabled her to play with groups
such as the Midlands Youth Jazz Band and Indigo Noise. Bethany also plays for fun and
goes busking, as well as playing sessions with other musicians. She also played support
for Julian Smith, the BGT Finalist, in a Charity concert. As a RHT 2016 Finalist, Bethany
showed what a talent she has and we hope to see more of her in the coming years.
Rhiannon Street - Singer
Rhiannon has always a passion for acting, appearing in shows and projects in and out of
school which has given her great enjoyment being part of. Singing from a young age,
Rhiannon is often asked if she has had singing lessons.Her answer? No. She has a
natural voice which goes on getting better and better. However, Rhiannon would love to
have singing lessons to further develop her vocal techniques. The stage is where she feel
most comfortable and in Rhiannon’s own words: ‘I am a performer entertaining the
audience and seeing beaming smiles upon the audiences faces when I perform is the
reason I aspire to work in the performing arts industry when I'm older”. She has appeared
in both the 2015 and 2016 RHT Finals and always impresses.
Charlie Sample - Singer/pianist
Charlie started singing & playing piano when he was 5 years old. His first audience was
the whole school when he was 6, when he performed 'Price Tag' by Jessie J.He played at
his first festival (Wizzafest) at the age of 9 and he has played at The Cavern Club in
Liverpool with his choir and is due to play there again in March 2017.Charlie has
auditioned with The Voice Kids and he is influenced by Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Beyoncé
to name but a few! As a RHT 2016 Finalist in the 10-13 Age Group , Charlie impressed
both audience and judges with his musical skills and great personality - one to watch!
These young stars are climbing their way to the top purely to entertain you , their ambition, hard work and pure talent will make this a show not to be missed.
