Palace Features in New Book
‘Old Theatres of the Midlands’ was launched at the Palace in March 2008 and is an interesting historical record of theatres, past and present from across the region.
Author Terry Kirtland takes a nostalgic look back and a positive look forward at these palaces of entertainment, as they meet the needs of new audiences.
While the book examines those old buildings which have passed on, it also features remaining old Theatre’s which still provide the very best
entertainment today.
Copies of the book, priced £10.00 are on sale at the Palace Theatre Box Office/Tourist Information Centre or direct from the author by email www.oldtheatres.co.uk or by calling 01650 531565
